A Certain Intimacy

As I said in my scholarship interview for school, ten years ago now, "I want to make inhabitable sculpture." My artist statement needs revision as I've gained an understanding of my own interests - objects that people interact with, beautiful objects yes, but ones that you have a physical relationship with. A certain intimacy. It seems that results in smallish functional work or sculptures on a scale that relates to one's body.
